三年讀經默想與題目 (草戊尚土) 081217


W3 2008-12-17 (撒上17:41-18:30)

經文: 撒母耳記上 17:45 大衛對非利士人說：你來攻擊我，是靠著刀槍和銅戟；我來攻擊你，是靠著萬軍之耶和華的名，就是你所怒罵帶領以色列軍隊的神。

默想: 親愛的耶和華，年青的大衛在迎戰巨人歌利亞時，所依靠的萬軍之耶和華的名。求主幫助我，不要依靠人手所造的東西，或是自己的小聰明，而是學會凡事都依靠上帝的恩典。

題目: 你對於大衛與巨人歌利亞的戰爭有何感想呢？

    我想大衛打敗歌利亞的故事應該是聖經中最受歡迎的故事吧，憑信心將爭戰交給 神，讓年輕的大衛只憑一顆石頭便可解決巨大的歌利亞，這對於我這種小信的人真的很受激勵，但是， 神也會在我遇到歌利亞時能給我這麼大的信心與力量嗎？那些在旁邊害怕不敢出戰歌利亞的以色列人，為何都膽怯？為何無法像大衛拿出自己的石頭來攻擊歌利亞呢？

    我的感想是大衛是已經裝備好自己才出戰歌利亞，如同他很自信的告訴掃羅：『耶和華救我脫離獅子和熊的爪，也必救我脫離這非利士人的手。』當他明白自己與耶和華同在，也很清楚神賦予他的力量，他便能輕易的戰勝巨人歌利亞，得到最後的榮耀。

    親愛的主，您知道我的軟弱，請您憐憫我，給我足夠的操練與裝備，讓我能有信心與力量來迎戰歌利亞，請您引領我，讓我明白我手中的石頭也可以榮耀您，也能成就您的旨意。

    卯同學說的真好！
    太熟悉的經文，有時反而沒有想法。好像整個經文都被看透了。只差沒把字一個個拿起來，看看背後有沒有藏著什麼～～哈哈
    你生命中的歌利亞，是什麼？一次，外請的牧師這麼問著會眾。我的歌利亞是什麼？營業的壓力、文案的撰寫、大環境的惡劣、不合理的上級命令……。

    我個人覺得大衛打敗哥利亞,其中最大的因素是:上帝站在大衛這邊!否則大衛很可能會陣亡,但因為"勇氣可嘉"而被豎立雕像,以勵後人.

    很多事情,發生得令人不解;也有很多戰爭贏得莫名其妙(eg.諾曼地大登陸);很多情況,只有一個合理解釋,就是...神插手其中!

    在那場戰爭之前,神已經決定廢棄掃羅,大衛也已經被撒母耳膏抹,只是神"設計"了一個讓大衛嶄露頭角的場景,而大衛以他的勇氣與信心,證明了自己trust-worthy!

    Dear All, Peng An,
    As I could see from your responses that all of us were trying to symbolize or spiritualize or principlize the meaning and significance of the war between David and Giant Goliath.
    I thought few people today would think that would be a teaching for us to kill our enemy in the war field. Usually we would prefer to pray that our Lord would grant the political leaders of both sides to had enough political wisdom to solve the dispute between the two sides, whether it was between Israel and Gaza Palestinians, Taiwan and China, China and Tibet,....

    I would agree with you that David had gone through his period of training and equipping before he could actually have the courage to face the formidable challeng of the Giant Goliath.

    Interesting to read the list of the possible Goliaths in your current life situation.

    Reading your comment, it prompted me to think about whether it would be more appropriate to sayt that if we choose to stand on the side of God, then God would help us solve our problem.... Just a thought to share with you...
