回覆刪除外在環境/逼迫患難(1:4)；真理教導/假先知(2:9)；教會內部/吃閒飯、管閒事的人(3:11)。
很羨慕保羅所為帖撒羅尼迦教會的禱告中的「願我們的神看你們配得過所蒙的召」。(1:11)
無論神所量給我的境遇是甚麼，求主賜給我"努力"的心力(太11:12)，幫助我能配得過所蒙的召。
“If a man will not work, he shall not eat”(2Th 3:10). Paul launched a warning against idleness among Thessalonians. He mentioned that they should not wait but do nothing to wait for the Lord to come.
回覆刪除Besides, he encouraged them to keep doing what is right. In all, everyone ought to live a responsible life—laboring and not being a burden to others. May the Lord direct our hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.

回覆刪除One problem of church is how to impact the world, but not to leave the world. This is why Paul wants the believers to keep original jobs and work more hard. I think we cannot always dream the future beautiful paradise, but we can co-work with Jesus to do current job being perfect.

回覆刪除Freud詬病那些只想在教會中倚賴他人、不為自己負責的基督徒。「帖後 3:10 若有人不肯作工、就不可喫飯」，應是不錯的原則。
