Jehoiada Enthroned Joash as King

經文: 歷代志下 24:2 祭司耶何耶大在世的時候，約阿施行耶和華眼中看為正的事。
默想: 祭司耶和耶大冒生命的危險，搶救保護約阿施，並且在他七歲時，設立他為王，將神的律法書教導約阿施。但是，非常令人遺憾的是，約阿施只又在祭司耶何耶大在世時，才遵行耶和華眼中看為正的事。求主施憐憫，讓和平教會兄姐，不會只有在我還在和平服侍時，才遵行聖經的教導，而是不管我在或不在，一生一世遵行耶和華的命令典章。
題目: 你對於約阿施國王的一生有何看法呢？

連看得見、摸得著的恩人都會遺忘，忘記神、離棄神的結局不令人意外。求主幫助我能感恩圖報，對人對神皆然。
In the beginning of Joash’s time, he led well; particularly, he put the temple in good repair. In the latter end of his time, after Jehoiada's death, he apostatized from God, and his apostasy was his ruin. He set up the worship of Baal again.
回覆刪除The judgments of God then came upon him for it. The Syrians invaded him. He was struck with diseases. His own servants conspired against and slew him. Since he was infamous, he was not buried in the burying-place of the kings. The termination of his reign might be a consequence of his disloyalty to the Lord.

回覆刪除To keep believing God all the time is like swiming in the sea. If you felt very tired and started to give up swiming, then you will sink under the sea. You have to find one comfortable way to keep swiming and enjoy it. Just like a fish in the sea, and become one part of sea. Then, you can across the sea eventually.
