回覆刪除主耶穌提到挪亞和羅得的例子,說明末日的"不可預期",是突然降臨的.挪亞和羅得在他們的世代過著和多數人不同的生活,雖一樣吃喝嫁娶,卻是遵行神旨意為原則;如果我們的生活或價值觀,和周遭的人都沒有區別時,那我們就該當檢討了.
還有,羅得的妻子,原可以得救,卻因留戀過去而變成鹽柱.求神讓我們不要"半途而廢",幫助我們手扶著犁向主看!阿們!
In the days of Noah, people were reveling all day long. A flood destroyed them all. So were the people in the days of Lot. Fire and sulfur from heaven destroyed them all. No one knows when the Son of Man will be revealed, yet all of us should prepare ourselves as if He is to come today. When God comes back, there is no more chance to repent.

記得牧師曾在講道時提到 Jim Elliot 對他傳教士父親殉道的看法時，他說了一句話：『He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.』
我想有些事物是無法保全的，上帝要的時候就得交回，但是卻有一個永遠不會失去的，至於要如何得到，這或許也是上帝留給我的功課吧。
神啊，求您賜我寧靜的心，接受我所不能改變的事，賜我勇氣，改變我所能改變，賜我智慧，分辨兩者的差別。神啊，求您教導我，珍惜每一天，享受其中的每一刻，以苦難作為通往平安之路。記念這是耶穌所賜，並非我配得。信靠您，降服您的旨意。這樣，我必在此生得享喜樂，將來與您一起，享受永生福樂。阿們。

挪亞時期，因世人犯罪，神告訴挪亞將有洪水滅世，要建方舟保全性命。長達120年的歲月，當時的人除了家人，沒有人相信他，依舊過他們如常的生活。---最後滅亡了。
回覆刪除羅得時期，所多瑪也是犯罪，直到惡貫滿盈，神差使者前來滅城。當時，城中的人發現這使者來到羅得家中，沒有悔改的心，反而要求羅得交出人來。
神的慈悲，在挪亞時給了他們那麼長的時間。現在，他給我們更長的時間傳福音。因為挪亞、羅得當時是審判，但卻不是最後。當人子來時，就是最後審判，不信的人將再沒機會。
願神幫助我，在生活中，可以常常見證他的名，讓世人認識，願意跟隨他。

回覆刪除The stories of Noah and Lot were about God's judgment against human's evil. God sent his servants to warn the people about the imminent judgment, yet all the warnings seemed to encounter a closed ear and a dead heart. Would that be the same in the final judgment? Hopefully many people would open their ears and soften their hearts to respond to God's warning messages.
