默想: 以斯拉的認罪禱告影響了整個被擄歸回的以色列百姓，以致於有許多人自動聚集到以斯拉身邊，成為認罪悔改的禱告會。求主也在和平教會興起同樣會自我反省、認罪悔改的禱告復興。

結論:就算異教婚姻不是犯罪，也會對我們的信仰，帶來相當困難的挑戰。
斯時斯地，大祭司後裔以斯拉在群眾大會中，通過重大議案，迫與異族通婚的同胞與太太離婚，有其時代背景，可是殘酷的事實是馬上產生許多破裂家庭、單親兒童，且他們是否會陽奉陰違，等事過境遷、避開鋒頭又復合呢?不過我還是深深被其誠摯的哀痛震撼。

「祭司以斯拉和些族長按著宗族都指名見派；在十月初一日，一同在座查辦這事，到正月初一日，才查清娶外邦女子的人數。」(10:16-17)
花了三個月，才清點登錄完與異族通婚的總人數，可見通行之普遍（祭司、利未人和一般百姓皆有之），而且其中很多都已經生養了小孩。壓根不知道這是罪？明知故犯？
求主幫助我，檢視我的日常生活，到底有多少是"習以為常"其實是得罪神的事？
With increasing contact between different peoples in the world, many intermarriages have taken place. Through the bonding of new familial groups, the barriers and tensions between the couples of the intermarriages might be overcome. Such families may be the foundation of a happier world of peace and harmony.

And he said to him, "Have love for the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
This is the first and greatest rule."
And a second like it is this, "Have love for your neighbour as for yourself."
To marry with unbeliver is a challenge to follow the first and second rule in the same time. If he only follow the first rule, then he may loss the second rule. The only way to solve this problem is "Have Love". May Lord help those people with Your Love to belive Love and belive You.
