Basket of Thanksgiving Offerings
W1 2011-01-03 (申26:1-27:26)
經文: 申命記 26:1 你進去得了耶和華你神所賜你為業之地居住。
默想：耶和華賞賜以色列人迦南美地為業。約書亞必需勇敢壯膽，帶領以色列人與住在迦南地的人爭戰，將迦南人完全消滅，才能夠享受上帝所要賞賜的迦南美地。主耶穌為我們受死復活，把那復活得勝的生命賞賜給所有願意相信並接受主耶穌救恩的人。但是我們也需要靠主剛強，與還盤踞在我們生命幽暗深處的各種纏絆惡習爭戰，並且將他們完全消滅，才能夠享受上帝藉著主耶穌所要賞賜給我們那新生命的喜樂與平安。
題目:申26:12所提及的十分之一，主要目的為何？ (摩西五經所提到的十分之一，除了此處之外，另外還有在利27:30, 民18:21所提到的十分之一，還有在申12:17-18所提到的十分之一。請問三者之間有何異同呢？)
申26:12所提及的十分之一，主要目的是要以色列百姓記念耶和華所賜給祂的子女和他們的家的福份歡樂，不可忘記，更要將土產所得全部的十分之一分給利未人和在他們中間居住者）大家一起來記念耶和華所賜給祂所有的子女和他們的家的福份歡樂。
回覆刪除申26:12所提及的十分之一和民18:21都是指（所有以色列人的土產所得全部的十分之一）。
在申12:17-18和在利27:30（第十分之一）,都是指把所得的分成十份；前九分可歸自己家人，但第十份必須是耶和華的、是歸給耶和華為聖的。
我們對十分之一的觀念，不是口號，更不是繳稅的觀念；乃是將神所賜給我們的一切，分成十份，第十份必須是耶和華的、是歸給耶和華為聖的，不可佔為己有。凡事都是神給的，十分之一是要我們大家一起來記念耶和華所賜給祂所有的子女和他們的家的福份歡樂。
“A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain or fruit, belongs to the Lord”(Le 27:30). This is to remind us the Lord is the one who offers us everything and we should remember to contribute a tithe of our earnings or harvest to Him.
回覆刪除“I give to the Levites all the tithes in Israel as their inheritance in return for the work they do while serving at the Tent of meeting” (Nu 18:21). Aaron was required to follow the order since the Lord rewards whoever serves Him whole-heartedly and loyally.
“You must not eat in your won towns the tithes of your grain and new wine and oil,…Instead, you are to eat them in the presence of the Lord…and you are to rejoice before the Lord…”(De 12:17-19).
“When you have finished setting aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you shall give it to the Levite, the alien, the fatherless, and the widow…”(26:12).
In all, God emphasizes sharing (Nu 18:21; De 26:12) and appreciation (Nu 18:21; De 12:17-19). We have to be grateful to the Lord for what we have. Then, pass along the favor to those in need. A tithe is not a huge amount, but it can work miracles.

申26:12所提及的十分之一和民18:21都是指（所有以色列人的土產所得全部的十分之一，指一次獻上； this tithe （十分之一）may have been a one-time offering made after Israel’s first three years in the land.

回覆刪除I think the same purpose of tithe is to learn being humble for what we have. When we are proud for what we have, we will be easy to fall into the trap of Satan. On the contrary, if we can be humble for what we have, we will surrender to Lord and avoid the attack of Satan. May Lord help me to understand how to be humble for what I have and always thanks for what You have given to me.
