回覆刪除希西家不只自己是個敬畏神的人，還是一個帶領大家歸向神的好領袖。「王與眾首領」(29:20、30；30:2、12)出現多次，甚至「全會眾商議...」(30:23)看起來希西家是個「能鼓勵大家一起來」的好領袖。
Hezekiah sent word to all Israel and Judah and also wrote letters to Ephraim and Manasseh, inviting them to celebrate the Passover to the Lord. He was devoted to enhancing the spiritual life of his people by telling them not to be stiff-necked as their fathers were.
回覆刪除However, the people in Ephraim and Manasseh, as far as Zebulun scorned and ridiculed about the command. Hezekiah was not discouraged by the lukewarm responses but still prayed for the Lord to pardon them. As a leader, he didn’t resort to a severe way to force them, which showed his pleasant and gracious disposition.
