經文: 歷代志下 31:4 又吩咐住耶路撒冷的百姓將祭司、利未人所應得的分給他們，使他們專心遵守耶和華的律法。
默想: 希西家王關心聖殿祭司的生活所須，吩咐以色列人要將當納的十分之一送到聖殿。以致於祭司與利未人所須的都充足，甚至有餘甚多，成為堆疊，必須加蓋倉房來存放。好讓祭司與利未人沒有後顧之憂。可以專心侍奉耶和華。感謝主的恩典。
題目: 本段經文中希西家王留下那些好的屬靈榜樣以及不好的鑑戒呢？
Hezekiah did whatever was good in the eye of the Lord (Ch2 30:9, 10, 14, 15-20, 23; 31:1, 3). Faced with the invasion of Assyria, he tried his best to deal with the crisis so he won the battle with his faith in God (32: 7-8).
回覆刪除Yet humanity led him to be a proud leader. When he was ill, he didn’t respond to the kindness a miraculous sign showed him; therefore, the Lord’s wrath was on him and on Judah and Jerusalem. We should be ready to be tested by the Lord. He cares a lot about whether we are closely following Him.

回覆刪除「希西家在猶大遍地這樣辦理，行耶和華─他神眼中看為善為正為忠的事。凡他所行的，無論是辦神殿的事，是遵律法守誡命，是尋求他的神，都是盡心去行，無不亨通。」(31:20-21)
希西家無論是侍奉或自己與神的關係，他都是「盡心去行」；遭遇亞述強敵壓境時，希西家與以賽亞禱告、向天呼求(32:20)，值得我們學習。
但是
在神醫治他、延長他壽命之後，「希西家卻沒有照他所蒙的恩報答耶和華；因他心裡驕傲...」(30:25)
不僅感嘆，驕傲的希西家王與驕傲的尼布甲尼撒王有何分別？
「惟有一件事，就是巴比倫王差遣使者來見希西家...這件事神離開他，要試驗他，好知道他心內如何。」(32:31)
求主幫助我，照我所蒙的恩報答神，虛己謙卑在神、在人的面前；當我面臨考驗時，雖然神要我單獨面對，但只要我回頭看神，神一定會幫助我勝過，感謝讚美主。

回覆刪除I think the most difficult learning in Bible is to do every thing in every work with good and right and truth before Lord. On the other hand, the easiest thing is to pride himself on some achievements. May Lord give me power to do every work well with good to honor your name.

回覆刪除但是，到了平順的日子時，卻輕忽求問神的態度，所以招致日後的滅亡。
巴比倫的使者來訪，上帝的靈離開他，要試驗他，知道他的內心如何～～讓我警戒在心，有些時候，神要知道我們的內心如何？
