經文: 耶利米書 48:47 耶和華說：到末後，我還要使被擄的摩押人歸回。摩押受審判的話到此為止。
默想: 感謝主，摩押雖然不是你的選民，也因為所行的罪過而遭受你公義的審判。但是，你對於摩押人還是存有恩典。摩押被擄的將會歸回。感謝主的恩典。
題目:你對於摩押被審判的預言有何感想呢？

回覆刪除"摩押自幼年以來常享安逸，如酒在渣滓上澄清，沒有從這器皿倒在那器皿裡，也未曾被擄去。因此，它的原味尚存，香氣未變。"48:11
"...因（摩押）她向耶和華誇大... 摩押啊，你不曾嗤笑以色列嗎？... 我們聽說摩押人驕傲，是極其驕傲..." 48:26-29
當上帝所賜的福，成為人們自高、自大、驕傲的原因時，有時，上帝會顛覆、攪拌，讓我們知道上帝才是一切幸福的根本。感謝上帝，祂不永遠懷怒；求上帝幫助我，被管教的時候，能及時悔改，並且感謝祂把我當"自己人"，而不是那"被棄絕的"。
"耶和華說：到末後，我還要使被擄的摩押人歸回。摩押受審判的話到此為止。"48:47
Moab had been at rest from youth and worshiped Chemosh and her most unbearable sin is her overweening pride, conceit, arrogance, and the haughtiness of her heart. An arrogant person tends to look down upon others.
回覆刪除God said to us, “…Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you” (Ro 12:3). Besides, pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall (Pr 16:18).
May my jar never be emptied and my jugs never be smashed by God. Prayer in the name of Jesus! Amen~

回覆刪除我想大部分的人對於犯法的人要去坐牢可能都不會有任何意見，但是對於從牢裡出來的人要有機會讀書或是工作，可能不見得每個人都會同意，有些人甚至會覺得那些人根本就不應該放出來，這些人根本就是社會的負擔。
在今天的經文，很有意思的是上帝的話只說到：『到末後，我還要使被擄的摩押人歸回。摩押受審判的話到此為止。』
到此為止？是要我們能盡棄前嫌來寬恕那些犯罪的人嗎？還是上帝的審判到此，接下來要接受的是人的審判。有時候，我覺得人的審判反倒比上帝的審判還來的可怕。
但願，台灣的媒體少一些血腥的審判，多一些寬容的關懷。

回覆刪除I liked Mr. Mou's reflection and application.
It was very interesting that the Prophet Jeremiah was inspired to prophesize about Moab. It seemed to me that our God would have sovereignty over the whole world, no matter whether the country would worhsip God or not. And God seemed to be sovereign to chose the person He would like to use to inspire to warn Moab.
I wondered whether and how Moab people responded to the prophecy made by Israel prophet Jeremiah, especially Israel was a country with impending destruction by the Lord....
