All Is Vanity and A Striving after Wind

經文: 傳道書 1:1 在耶路撒冷作王、大衛的兒子、傳道者的言語。
默想: 傳道書的作者開宗明義，在一開始就表明自己的身份，是大衛的兒子，在耶路撒冷作王，讓我們幾乎可以確認，他就是所羅門王。他自稱是傳道者，勸大家要看透紅塵的虛空，而會追求與神建立關係。求主幫助我，能夠即早看透這個世界一切榮華富貴的短暫與虛空本質，而會追求與上帝建立親密關係。
題目: 傳道書作者認為有那些事情是虛空呢？
According to Solomon, everything is meaningless (Ec 1:1-11): wisdom (1:12-18), pleasure (2:1-15), wisdom and folly (2:12:16) and toil (2:17:26).
回覆刪除Ironically, these are what I’m pursuing. I don’t give priority to building up relationship with the Lord. Solomon shared with us his life story with us and hoped that we would not make the same mistake as him.

作者不缺財富、智慧，卻覺得虛空，換個角度想：或許人還是要有"缺乏"、要有"可以做得更好的努力空間"才不會覺得虛空。
日光之下,盡都虛空.

We said we are not belong to this world. So, it is easy to understand all is vanity in this world. However, this world is also created by God. There are lots of beautiful scenery and wonderful things in this world. That means we can find His Love in this world. If His Love can be full in this world, then this world will be His kingdom. Just like the Lord's Prayer: "thy kingdom come，thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." This world will be vanity and His Kingdom will come.
