三年讀經默想與題目 (草戊尚土) 080502

W5 2008-05-02 (賽14:1-14:32)

經文: 以賽亞書 14:14-15 我要升到高雲之上；我要與至上者同等。然而，你必墜落陰間，到坑中極深之處。

默想: 主啊！保守我不要看自己過於所當看的。讓我在祢與人的面前學會存心謙卑，看別人比自己強而會欣賞與學習。

題目: 你對本段經文有關巴比倫與亞述的興亡有何感想？

    "萬軍之耶和華起誓說:
    我怎樣思想(have planned),必照樣成就;
    我怎樣定意(have purposed),必照樣成立..."萬軍之耶和華既然定意,誰能廢棄呢?
    祂的手已經伸出,誰能轉回呢? 24,27節

    看到這段經文,再想到創世記18:17
    耶和華說:我所要做的事豈可瞞著亞伯拉罕呢?

    在神已經定旨'定意'定時要做的事情中,神彷彿都還是會透過祂所揀選的人(如眾先知),透漏訊息,給人得救的機會...若有人代求(如亞伯拉罕為羅德),若有人悔改(如尼尼微城)...神的憐憫和愛仍然超過逞罰...

    草戊尚土 牧師，平安：

    谷哥談到巴比倫與亞述的興亡，大都是說巴比倫王過於驕傲自大，以為自己可以取代上帝，而亞述帝國是當時最強大的王國，在那時是沒有人會相信他會有滅亡的一天，但是耶和華卻都看見他們的罪惡，伸出了權杖讓他們敗亡。

    這讓我想到三、四百年前的中國，皇帝以天子自居，四周的藩國都需前來朝貢，普天之下，莫非王土，率土之濱，莫非王臣，多麼的自傲強盛，但過了兩百年他卻也在一夕之間成了紙老虎，現在又過了兩百年，他好像開始崛起，但是也逐漸驕傲，無法尊重宗教與信仰，但願主能給予他的領導人足夠的智慧與謙卑，能給人民平安與幸福。

    希望兩岸、西藏、亞洲以及世界 都能看見和平的曙光 -----還在學習謙卑的 卯同學 上

    Dear JBC,
    Yeah, the predestination of our Lord seemed to be different from the predestination of Buddhism.

    The Buddhist's predestination is a fixed non-changeable law of justice, retributive justice.

    The Christian predestination is a flexible changealbe law of grace beyond justice.

    The co-existence of grace and justice is one mystery of our Lord.


    Dear 卯,
    Yeah, as we could observe in the world today, politics were the play of power game.

    I was still wondering how the religion and politics could get together, or how should the two interact with each other in a way not to bring destruction to themselves and to the world.
