逾越節是...

一個結束,從此脫離埃及的奴役;
一個開始,邁向應許之地的旅程;
一個預表,無瑕羔羊就是主耶穌.

回覆刪除我想如同中國人過年祭祖有著慎終追遠的意義，耶和華設立了逾越節，也讓世世代代的以色列人記得他們先祖因著 神的恩典得以重生，要他們的後裔將這見證永遠流傳下去。
對我而言，我算是家族裡面的第一代基督徒吧，但是我好像沒有辦法做一個好見證，在我生命中也能有那麼一個逾越節，可以傳給後代，讓他們能紀念主對我的救贖，但願主憐憫我，讓聖靈來改變我的生命，也讓我的信仰能傳遞下去。

『你們要記念從埃及為奴之家出來的這日，因為耶和華用大能的手將你們從這地方領出來。』
回覆刪除『將來耶和華領你進迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、希未人、耶布斯人之地，就是他向你祖宗起誓應許給你流奶與蜜之地，那時你要這月間守這禮。』
從創世記至止，除了創世的記載外，這段出埃及的故事，大概人親眼看見上帝行神蹟最多的部份。所作的這一切，就是為了拯救以色列人。『飲水思源』---雖然，要有以色列這個族群存在，亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各這些祖宗都很重要，但是若非耶和華的拯救，他們也只不過在埃及為奴而已。
God asked the Israelites to celebrate the Passover year after year. The observance of all the restrictions is a sign and a reminder that God brought them out of Egypt with His mighty hand. For Christians, Holy Communion is like our Passover. God wishes us to be united with Him by experiencing, sharing, and communicating His love. We should keep in mind the amazing grace and cherish every moment of reading His words in Bible because He is saving us from spiritual slavery.

回覆刪除I thought that the passover feast must have lots of spiritual meanings and lessons which the Israelite parents could teach their children.
I wonder whether we Christian parents could have chance to teach our children the spiritual lessons of our communion.
BTW, the Presbyterian church forbade the children to receive the communion cup and bread, which would deprive us this precious opportunity to teach our children such spiritual lessons.
I had tried to have one communion when the parents could take the grape juice and the bread with their children in our church in the special Good Friday evening prayer meeting....
