回覆刪除人所以為一定不會倒的強國，神藉先知預言其傾毀，後來真的一敗塗地，「我在答比匿折斷埃及的諸軛，使她因勢力而有的驕傲在其中止息...他們就知道我是耶和華。」
「耶和華的日子臨近，就是密雲之日，列國受罰之期。」這裡，我不太明白，舊約裡似乎都是以「受到審判」來形容戰敗國，今日仍然還是可以這樣看嗎？
When the Lord inflicted punishment on Egypt, those rebellions would know that He is the Lord. For example, “Egypt will no longer be a source of confidence for the people of Israel but will be a reminder of their sin in turning to her for help” (Eze 29:16). Egyptians would be desolate among ruined cities (30:7) and would be dispersed, scattered among nations/countries… (26). The Lord would strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh would fall limp… (25).

神藉著先知說預言，當預言成就時，人們就知道祂真是神。而且這位神掌管萬有，不只萬物，包括萬族萬邦。
