經文: 歷代志上 29:3 且因我心中愛慕我神的殿，就在預備建造聖殿的材料之外，又將我自己積蓄的金銀獻上，建造我神的殿。
默想: 主啊，讓我的心能夠愛慕神的殿。讓我願意為了建殿而把自己擺上神所賞賜給我的資源。讓我願意為了建造神的殿而將自己所積蓄的金銀獻上，更願意將自己的時間與才幹也一起獻上。

回覆刪除「大衛王對會眾說：我兒子所羅門是神特選的，還年幼嬌嫩；這工程甚大，因這殿不是為人，乃是為耶和華神建造的。」29:1
「神特選的」是何等榮耀的事，當有服侍或責任落在我們肩上時，我們都是「神特選的」。求神幫助我，能像大衛一般以愛慕神的心來會應。
“…this palatial structure is not for man but for the Lord God…”(1Ch 29:1). David said the temple was to glorify the Lord not himself or his son Solomon. We should pay efforts to let the worldly people know about the Lord with a temple or a church. How magnificent it is doesn’t count.
回覆刪除Besides, David gave his personal treasures and all his resources to the temple of the Lord. He also influenced the leaders of families, the officers of the tribes of Israel, the commanders of hundreds, and the officials in charge of the king’s work to contribute willingly. After all, everything comes from His hand, and all of it belongs to Him.
