Moses prayed for Israel People
W1 2010-10-25 (申9:1-10:11)
經文: 申命記 9:25 我因耶和華說要滅絕你們，就在耶和華面前照舊俯伏四十晝夜。
默想： 摩西蒙上帝呼召，帶領以色列人出埃及。但是以色列人頑逆，三番兩次得罪耶和華。摩西為了以色列人的罪孽，三次俯伏在耶和華面前四十晝夜，懇求耶和華赦免以色列人，這是何等大的愛心與信心。求神將摩西這樣的信心與愛心賞賜給我。
題目:摩西為以色列人的緣故，三次在耶和華面前禁食禱告四十晝夜，你對此有何感想呢？

回覆刪除「我(摩西)因耶和華向你們大發烈怒，要滅絕你們，就甚害怕；但那次耶和華又應允了我。」(9:19)"狀況"發生時，摩西知道自己的位置及角色。求主幫助我，不因害怕而推諉責任，也不以「禍不及我」而置身事外。
摩西一直抓住上帝對他生命的呼召！乃帶領以色列人出埃及、進迦南。
回覆刪除他沒有因著對自己後裔的私心、或是對以色列百姓之失望，而答應了上帝滅絕百姓。
摩西被上帝稱為在上帝「全家」盡忠的！！
他是愛上帝國度勝於自己家人的聖徒。
From these verses I learned that prayer is a powerful means of grace to the praying man, a mighty intercessor. Moses' prayers are often found relieving the terrible stroke of God's wrath. Moses lived near God, and had the freest and most unhindered access to God. Familiarity and closeness to God gives potency to prayer.
回覆刪除The “40 days” term is found in many religious books. It is believed that when one fasts for at least forty days he then becomes ritually clean and can then participate in any religious function. The word "forty" is also used to mean "many" in both Hebrew and Arabic. So, power and earnestness are obviously observed in Moses’ praying and fasting forty days and forty nights three times.
生活中經歷上帝恩典：領受明白祂的教訓、突破難關、勝過仇敵、做出貢獻、生命有些成長、見到狀況因為「有我」而改善、教會有些復興跡象…是否會沾沾自喜，「忘了我是誰」？
回覆刪除「耶和華─你的 神將這些…從你面前攆出以後，你心裡不可說：『…是因我的義。』其實…並不是因你的義，也不是因你心裡正直，乃是…耶和華─你的 神…要堅定他向你…起誓所應許的話。」(申9：4-5)
懇求慈悲憐憫的主赦免我們時常悖逆、頑梗、驕傲、自義的罪，改變我們的生命，能像摩西一樣有謙卑的生命，緊緊抓住信靠上帝的應許，以從主而來的愛心、能力服事祢、服侍人，並將一切榮耀歸給祢。 janty
期待自己得罪神時，卻不知罪時，有人這樣為自己代求。
回覆刪除害怕別人得罪神時，自己要這樣40晝夜在神面前求～～哈哈，沒有啦！該作的還是要作。
看這段經文，深深地被提醒，很多時候該負責的並不是自己，卻為了愛的緣故，願意一起承擔。而我們的信仰就是這樣。
親愛的主啊，我知道我所犯的錯，已有人在祢面前為我代求。願我常常紀念在心，也回報在別人的身上，把握機會為別人代求。

回覆刪除I think there are two problems: one problem is why Israel people always cannot surrender to God. Another problem is why Moses can pray for those bad guys not only one time. The same answer maybe from God's love. Because of God's love, people can have complete free will to fight God. Because of God's love, people can pray for those bad guys for the same salvation. The only hope for the peace is from God's love. May Lord help me to be aware of your love in every second everytime.
