三年讀經默想與題目 (草戊尚土) 080908

W1 2008-09-08 (創36:1-36:43)

經文: 創世紀 36:7因為二人的財物群畜甚多，寄居的地方容不下他們，所以不能同居。

默想: 親愛的主啊！以掃與雅各不能同居是因為二人的財物群畜甚多，寄居的地容不下他們。求主讓我在得到你豐盛的恩典時，不會容不下你的兒女，求主讓我有更寬廣的心。

題目: 你對以掃的後代族譜有何感想？

    1. 這段族譜的記載極其詳盡，紀錄者何人?又以何種方式紀錄下來?

    2. 族譜的傳承多半以男性為主，何以又特別列出"羅坍的妹子是亭納...亞拿的女兒是阿何利巴瑪。
    "兩位女性?這兩人的地位有其特殊性嗎?

    The name lists of Esau's polygamous wives showed some inconsistencies, and the following webpage tried to harmonize it,

    From here we knew that Aholibamath was the grand-daughter of Zibeon the Hivite, the daughter of Anah. So this might be the significance of Aholibamath.

    From Gen 36:12 we knew that Timna was the concubine of Eliphaz, the son of Esau. Eliphaz got Amalek from Timna, and Amalek was the partriarch of the Amalekite people, who was an enemy of Israelite. [Gen 17:9-16]

    主啊！在您的保守之下，子民多子多孫多財富乃是您的恩典，在此同時亦祈求您保守賜予眾子民們和睦相處的空間與關係，感謝主！
    以掃後代族譜之記載交代的還不夠清楚
    其中有關可拉為阿何利巴瑪所生，但於36.16又稱其為亞大之後代，有所不解？

    草戊尚土 牧師，平安：

    我想或許這裡記載以掃的後代是為了應許耶和華 神對他媽媽利百加的應許︰『兩國在你腹內；兩族要從你身上出來。這族必強於那族，將來大的要服事小的。』（創25:23）

    以掃的後代興旺，但是他小看自己長子的名，又未能得著父親以撒的祝福，所以相對於神揀選雅各的後裔（以色列人）作為神的子民，他的後代卻只能成為另外一族（以東人）了。

    但願主憐憫我，不讓我小看您給我的一切，仍能祝福我的家族和後代，讓您的疼愛也能臨到他們身上，感謝主。

    看族譜的話,好像以掃也沒有損失--就放棄長子的名分而言;但在天上的產業,可就差很多了!

    1.Sorry, I can't get into the website (http://www.aish.com/torahportion/moray) you mentioned, and can't find the story about Timna on Gen17:9-16 either. Please advise while you are available. Thank you.

    2.The geneologys are so complicated which makes me tend to skip all of them.

    Sorry, the format of the blog seemed to cut the url short, so you could not read the whole url.
    I would try to cut it shorter, and hopefully you could get it this way.
    BTW, it is OK that you felt bored with these geneology list. I believed that most of the people would feel the same as you.

    若從世人的眼光來看，以掃的後代有這麼多的族長，可以說是家道興旺。且從世人的眼光來看，沒有耶和華的祝福，不也可以很有成就嗎？不要說那時，就是現在，不認識神、不信主的人，不也很有成就、不也在社會上很有地位。
    如同jbc所言，但這一切比起在天上的財寶，就差多了，但又有多少人，真的可以看透這一點？這令我想起蔡牧放棄在美國取得醫師職照，而專心念神學院之事。明明有能力可以作這件事，卻因著神，放棄這條路，而走合神心意的路。真的是很美的見證。當我們當成主，而非只是救贖主時，不就該是這樣面對人生嗎？^_^
